Theo Jones is an award-winning architectural designer, maker, researcher, and teacher based in London. He works in architecture as an Associate at Architecture for London, teaches as a founder of Green Mat Workshop, and formed the design collective Taxonomy.

Theo was awarded the 2019 RIBA Journal drawing prize and has held exhibitions with New London Architecture, The Bartlett and the RIBA. He studied architecture at Oxford Brookes University and The Bartlett School of Architecture.

His current research interests include architectures in the context of the internet, identity, and borders. Theo’s work considers people as social and political actors, designing with implicit sustainability and historical awareness. His use of playful narratives explore how small human interactions can impact the built environment. He has lectured at the Royal Academy of Arts, London Festival of Architecture, UAL, Oxford Brookes University and the University of Nottingham. His work has been published by the Association of Architectural Educators, Design Boom, Bustler and the RIBA Journal.

Theo welcomes new collaborators for design projects, drawing and model commissions, publications, exhibitions, or teaching.
